Sat 26 June / Sand Casting Workshop (Beginner students)

– Sold Out

Sand Casting is an ancient technique that has been used to make jewellery for thousands of years and can be used to cast almost any hard object including existing pieces of jewellery and organic objects.

In this full day workshop, we will be making a mould of an existing object and casting using sterling silver.

You can also bring your old silver/gold jewellery to melt down and use in your creations. *Gold jewellery must be yellow or rose gold. We do not cast white gold due to the technical difficulties in casting

During this workshop, we will supply a range of jewellery and objects to use. You can also bring along something that you would like to cast in silver or gold.

You can bring along something you would like to cast in silver, or use one of the many organic objects already available in the studio.
