Formed & Cast Wedding Ring Workshop
What better way to ensure your wedding rings hold special meaning than to hand craft them yourselves in a fabulous, hands-on workshop?
This workshop suits couples where one person needs to make a plain wedding band and the other needs to carve a fitted wedding band to wrap around an engagement ring.
Once you book your workshop, we will send you out an adjustable ring sizing guage so we can get an estimate for the gold for the forged ring.
In the first session, you will both work with wax to carve the fitted wedding band. Then, you will both work together to hand craft the forged wedding band under the expert guidance of a jeweller.
At the end of the first session, the wax carved ring is sent to our casting house to be cast in the metal of your choice. This is when we work out the cost of the second ring.
After the ring is cast, you return for the second session where this time you both work directly with the metal to file, sand and polish your ring (or we can finish your rings for you and deliver via registered post).

- Fingerprint engraving $250 per ring
- Engraving a message/name/date $180 per ring
- Engraving a message in your handwriting $250 per ring
- Rhodium plating (for white gold rings) $80 per ring
If you would like to make your ring from Platinum, carving it from wax and casting it is the only way to do so.
