Forged Wedding Ring Workshop

Spend the day handcrafting your wedding bands in this private one-day workshop for two. 

Once you book your workshop, we will send out an adjustable ring measuring tool so we can work out your ring size and how much metal we will need to order. 

We will also work with you in the lead-up to the workshop to decide on your design and which precious metal you would like to use.

Your gold will need to be ordered at least two weeks before the workshop and will need to paid for in full at this time. Please read our FAQ's here. 

You will also need to consider whether you'd like a textured ring and the surface finish you would like - polished, matte, hammered, brushed. 

A gourmet lunch and morning/afternoon tea is provided.

Additional expenses:

  • Stone setting starting from $25 per stone
  • Fingerprint engraving $250 per ring
  • Engraving a message/name/date $180 per ring
  • Engraving a message in your handwriting $250 per ring
  • Rhodium plating (for white gold rings) $80 per ring
Specialised skills such as stone setting, engraving and plating are undertaken by professionals after you have made your rings.

      Wedding bands can be made from sterling silver or yellow, white or rose gold in 9ct or 18ct.

      If you would like to make your ring from Platinum, you will need to carve your own rings, Couples Private Carved and Cast Wedding Ring Making Workshop.

        Workshops are held on the Sunshine Coast, an hours drive north of  Brisbane. 

        The Sunshine Coast is a beautiful location with plenty of things to see and do. We've negotiated some discounts for Jewellery Collective students, so you can stay a little longer and enjoy everything this area has to offer. You'll receive a 10% discount on your accommodation at these amazing places, when attending a Jewellery Collective workshop.

        Workshops are available seven-days-a-week and need to be booked at least two weeks in advance. Book online and we will phone you to discuss your rings and arrange a suitable date.
