It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Noosa-based jeweller Susan Ewington to the Jewellery Collective studio last Saturday to teach a ‘Setting Found Objects’ workshop.
This workshop was all about thinking ‘outside the box’ when it came to setting ‘unusual’ objects .
As a demonstration project, Susan created a five claw setting for an uneven yet beautiful piece of sea glass. It was absolutely fascinating watching Susan’s meticulous work up close .
